M.S. RAMAIAH UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES, BANGALORE (19 May - 20 May 2025) - Empowering Educators with AI & Deep Learning!
A successful Two-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence
and
Deep Learning, harnessing the capabilities of the NVIDIA Ecosystem and
Infrastructure, was
conducted on 19 th – 20 th May 2025 at the Peenya campus of Ramaiah.
This intensive program was designed to equip faculty members with practical
skills and
advanced insights into modern AI methodologies used across academia and
industry.
Key Objectives Included:
- Building both foundational and advanced understanding of deep learning using NVIDIA GPU-accelerated platforms
- Hands-on experience in fine-tuning and deploying AI models
- Exploring real-world applications of distributed training and large language model (LLM) fine-tuning using NVIDIA’s state-of-the-art tools
The program was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the faculty and the incredible support from the team at Ramaiah. We especially thank Dr Kuldeep Raina, Dr. Tapasi Ghosh and Prof. HS Srivatsa at Ramaiah for their thoughtfulness and continued support throughout the process. We look forward to more such collaborative efforts that foster innovation and continuous learning.
